USING IFTTT TRIGGERS TO CONNECT TWO DEVICES

In this video I am demonstrating how I use IFTTT triggers from the IFTTT trigger website to connect two devices so that I am able to control the object by voice. In this video I use a Wemo switch, Amazon Echo, happy light, and the IFTTT trigger website.

In order to do this, you need a device that can have its on-switch kept on at all times, so that the Wemo switch can control its power. I use the happy light as an example, but this can be used to connect almost any two devices which allows me to take control over most devices in my house.
